Does anyone know what the maximum charactor limits to a field from a mail
merge is in Word.  I have several fields I am bring into Word from Excel 03
and they exceed 2000 charactors.  If so is their a work around to this
charactor limit?

From information posted by a fellow contributor, I understand that Word
looks at the first 8 or so records in the data source to determine the time
of data.  If there is no field in any of those 8 or so records that contains
more than 255 characters, that field in all subsequent records will be
truncated at 255 characters.

Hope this helps.
