I would like to do the following:

send a merge e-mail via word office 2003 with an attachment. Via an excel
file I have the e-mail addresses so that everybody recieves a personal
message.
The attachment is also an word document.

Via: http://word.mvps.org/faqs/mailmerge/MergeWithAttachments.htm, I found a
macro. But it does not work, says it finds a wrong "type" and is then
referring to: oOutlookApp As Outlook.Application (and it is linked to:
Microsoft Outlook 11.0 Object Library)

Did you read the first paragraph under 'preparations'?

Yeah I did to this.

(and it is linked to:
Microsoft Outlook 11.0 Object Library via VBA)

All I can say is that you must not have followed the instructions to the
letter, which is required if you want the operation to succeed.
