G'day!
In Australia we use the date format DD/MM/YYYY.
I'm using Access as a data source for a mail merge and in the Access data
table it quite happily displays the date the way I want it.
When I open up my Word file, the merged dates display in American format
MM/DD/YYYY.
I'm pretty sure all my other settings are right and using Australian formats.
Any idea how I can tweak this to get it to speak Aussie in the merge process?
Thanks
Karen

See the "Dates: day/month reversed" item under the "Connection methods"
topic of the "Mail merge in Word 2002" section of fellow MVP Cindy
Meister's website at

or use the Format() function in a query in Access to force the date into the
required format and use that query as the data source for the mail merge.
