Where are your addresses stored?

If they are stored in an Outlook Contact folder, try starting Outlook,
opening the contact folder, then Outlook Tools|Mail merge, which gets the
addresses into Word using a different method. You may need to change some of
the field names/mappings if you use e.g. "Title".
