I'm trying to merge short text cells (70 words aprox) from multiple columns
in a Excel db to a single word file - it seems to work fine for names, and
alphanumeric sequences - but when it comes to the text, the merge will only
pick up the text from the first column, and won't pick up the text - I tried
importing the data into word as a table, and it wouldn'pick up the text
either - what am I doing wrong, is there anyway to merge text like this?

It's probably the problem described in http://tips.pjmsn.me.uk/t0003.htm -
try the DDE option mentioned at the beginning of that.
