I have a Foxpro (I think) file, which I can look at in
Excel.  It contains all the fields I need to merge (it is
a *.dbf file).  Every time I try to merge it into a Word
2002 document, I am asked which associated table to use,
and the file with all the fields I need doesn't appear.

Hi Anthony,

PLEASE continue in the original discussion thread! You've
just wasted fifteen minutes of my time, spent thinking and
typing an answer to your last response there. This
information would have been very important. FWIW, it means
that this *.dbf file is NOT a VFP file.
