We have a fax template which is "locked" except for the "To", "Subject"
entries and and "From" and "Sender" are drop-down menu choices.  When the
information has been entered and you then you want to print, a question box
pops up for you to enter info for the "To" field.

Any help as to why this "To" question box pops up, much appreciated.

I have also have macro merges with similar problem.

If tools > options > print > uncheck update fields doesn't fix it, you could
send the template to my web site link and I will see if I can spot the
problem.

Thank you so much.  I will try this when I get to work tomorrow.

I am also experiencing this same problem with several other projects; the
secondary file asks us questions, we fill in answers,  save and then merge
secondary with primary and at that time, duplicate questions pop also.

Graham:
Thank you.  This worked.  However, am also experiencing this same problem
with several other projects; the secondary file asks us questions, we fill in
answers,  save and then merge secondary with primary and at that time, the
questions pop again.

 Any suggestions for this problem?
