I’m merging information from an Excel document into a Word document, and I
have a question about date formats.

I know formatting isn't retained when data is merged into a document, so I’d
like to know how to display the Excel date "December 7, 2007” as "12/07” in
the Word document.

I’m using Office 2003 products.

Thank you.
