Address Block and Saluation Problem

Hi

I wonder if anyone could help me, in Word 2007 it will allow me to insert
fields in the address block at the top of a letter but when I try to insert
the greeting line, it puts in the same name information I have in the Address
Line for example;

Mr Fred Jones
A Company
Address

Dear Fred Jones               (instead of salutation – Fred)

If I then manually change the salutation it automatically changes the
details at the top of the Address block!

Fred
A Company
Address

Dear Fred

Has anyone come across this before?

Regards

Don't use the addressblock. Instead use the individual fields formatted as
you require them.
