Ladies & Gents: Go to the Tools pull-down. Right before
the Envelopes & Labels option is the Mail Merge option.
On one computer, the Mail Merge option is repeated maybe
60-80 times. The user has to scroll through all of those
Mail Merge options to get to the Envelopes & Labels
option. How can this repitition be turned off so that
Mail Merge option appears only one time? Thanks! Mike

This is reputed to result from an Add-in that comes with MS Works (Suite).
To get rid of the problem, you may have to
a. use Word Tools|Customize to drag all the surplus options off the Tools
menu into oblivion, leaving one behind
b. uninstall the Add-in using Control Panel. And you will doubtless lose
Works-related features if you do
c. recreate your normal.dot template
