Outline numbering and hidden text font in MS Word
I often use Outline Numbered paragraphs in MS Word.
I want to hide some of the paragraphs in MS Word using
the Hidden font effect.
When (for example) paragraphs 3 through 5 are hidden, I'd
like paragraph #6 to appear as paragraph 3,
instead of continuing to appear as #6, i.e.:
1    Hello said the brown dog
2    Hello said the brown dog
6    Hello said the brown dog

Does anyone know how I can accomplish that?
I'd be pleased to pay for the answer.

Assuming your outline numbering is correctly applied using styles, create a
separate (unnumbered) paragraph style with the attribute of "hidden." When
you want to hide your paragraphs use a style change so that these paragraphs
will not be included in the numbering.
