I recently upgraded to Office 2003.  When I open a mail-
merge document, it presents a dialog box "Opening this
document will run the following SQL command: . . . Do you
want to continue".  This is causing problems with some
automation macros in Excel that create the data source
and use Word to print a mail merge document.  I get the
same dialog when the data source is a word .doc or an
excel range.
