I have "name, address, city, state, zip" data in a data source file created
for an envelop mail-merge project. I would like to print this same data
using the same field names/data as labels. How can I append data from the
envelop file to a label file? Or do I need to re-enter all of this data over
again?

Just create a label type mail merge and attach the same data source to it as
you used for the Envelopes.

http://www.gmayor.com/merge_labels_with_word_2007.htm and attach your data
file to the document so created.
