I am using data from an Excel database into a mailmerge document. M
merge document has three checkboxes. Whether they remain in thei
default unchecked position depends on the value of the correspondin
field in the database.

How do I get the checkboxes to check when a particular value is presen
in the data field?

Use an If...then...Else field construction that inserts the appropriate
Wingdings symbol depending on the value of the field.
