Need merge field content based page break

In my mail merge application most fields in each record go into respective
table rows, but a few that are the same for many records preferably go in the
page header (e.g.. CaseNumber. Title, etc.). How can I have a page break or
other next page arrangement so, for example, the records for case 300301
start on a new page, the records for case 300302 start on a new page etc.?

Sounds like you are probably trying to perform a "multiple items per
condition (=key field)" mailmerge which Word does not really have the
ability to do:

Or, if you create a Catalog (on in Word XP and later, it's called Directory)
type mailmerge main document with the mergefields in the cells of a one row
table in the mailmerge main document with the keyfield in the first cell in
the row and then execute that merge to a new document and then run the
following macro, it will create separate tables with the records for each
key field in them.  With a bit of further development, you may be able to
get it to do what you want.

' Macro to create multiple items per condition in separate tables from a
directory type mailmerge

Dim source As Document, target As Document, scat As Range, tcat As Range
Dim data As Range, stab As Table, ttab As Table
Dim i As Long, j As Long, k As Long, n As Long

Thanks Doug.

As it turned out I had to get something working today and I found KB article
211303 on my own and the result is great.

So far I am not able to put merged in field data in headers the way I would
like, but I can put this at the top of the first page for a set of records
and that fills my need.
