I am doing a letters mail merge in Microsoft Word 2003, Windows XP.  Is there
a way to edit the spacing of a single letter in the completed merge without
effecting the spacing of the following letters?

If you execute the merge to a new document, that document will contain each
of the letters in a separate section.  You can then go to the letter that
you want to edit and change it without the rest of the letters in that
document being affected.

Hope this helps.
