How do I repeat the value from a previous record as I am
inputting data into a Word Mail merge data field?

I know of no way to do this, short of copy/paste. Unlike
Access or Excel, Word simply doesn't not have an equivalent
to Ctrl+'...

If you were to work directly in the underlying table that
holds the data source, you could certainly program a macro
that would let you do this. But if you have a lot of
fields, this can get awfully difficult.

In the end, it might be better to open the document with
that table, copy it and paste into Excel...
