MS Office Forum / Word / Mailmerge and Fax / May 2008Can't See Field Code for INCLUDEPICTURE
Hi, I recently have experienced an extrange behaviour of Word 2003 SP3 in my desktop. I cannot switch to field codes the pictures I have linked in all my documents with Shift+F9. Alt+F9 instead works perfectly... Pictures are inline so http://support.microsoft.com/kb/212241/en-us/ is not applying in my case. I have not recently installed updates or other software in my desktop. In the Word 2003 I have installed in my laptop Shift+F9 works normally, so it is a matter of set up, not of the documents. Other fields as TOC, SEQ, EMBED properly toggle with F9 and Shift +F9... Anyone can help me? I would like to continue using Shift-F9, it is very practical to me. Many thanks, Alberto. The only reason that can be is because you do not have a field selected when pressing Shift+F9. If Alt+F9 toggles all fields and Shift+F9 will toggle the other fields that you mention, then there is no reason that it would not toggle a selected INCLUDEPICTURE field.  SignatureHope this helps.
