Mail Merge problem.  Several forms have headers and footers do not merge into
the new document.  Only items in the body of the form merge.  This is a
problem which has surfaced in the last month.  Nothing has been changed to
the Word application that I am aware of.  I use Vista and Word 2007.  The
document is saved in the 97-2003 format.

Is this just when the merge is executed to a new document and is the header
and footer area showing, but it is just blank, or is there no header and
footer area above and below the body of the document?  If the latter, it
would be because the white space between pages is not being displayed, in
which case, click on the Office button and then on Word Options and then on
Display and check the box against the item "Show white spaced between pages
in Print Layout view"
