Mail Merge with labels

Does anyone know how to fix an issue with mail merging
labels? When I mail merge, it seems like the first page
contains all the contact information I have specified
from my data source, but the next page contains the same
contacts, with one new one, and so on and so forth. It's
like it's only recognizing one new label per page.
Thanks

Hi E.,

Press Alt+F9 to view the field codes. Do you see a { NEXT }
field at the beginning of the second and following cells?
If not (which I suspect), then you need to insert one from
the "Insert Word field" list - at the *beginning* of those
cells.

My situation is very similar.  I do have the <<Next
Record>> set.  The the first label on the second page
appears to get the treat the last record as the entry from
the first label on the first page.

Your problem description is a bit jumbled... In addtion, we
need to know

Which version of Word?
Have you set up the merge as a "label" type, or as something
else (such as catalog)?
How many labels down and across is your label page?
