I am using Avery 5160 mailing labels with mail merge.
When I print the labels on my laser printer, part of the
top of the address gets cut off. I have tried modifying
the size of the label in the set-up, but that makes it
worse. Help.

The usual answer given by the experts is to update your
printer driver. Perhaps you are not setting up the labels
correctly for your system. Go to:
http://www.btinternet.com/~kevin.james1/Ralph.htm
There you will find detail procedures for making mailing
label using Avery label stock and either Word or Works
word processor with a Works database. Any questions
please repost.

In the mean time you can always cheat when you set up your
labels using the wizard. When you are adding your fields
for the names and addresses, enter once to drop things
down one line..you can always enter a couple of spaces
before each line also if you are having trouble with the
left alignment!

>Try putting a return in front as the first line of your
merge. You may have to then adjust the font to allow for
the blank line. good luck.

Besides the printer driver, mentioned by Ralph, the other
commonly occuring cause of this is a "bad" Avery label
wizard. So you should also check whether you can get an
updated version for your Version of Word from the Avery
website.
