Using Word XP and have "arranged my labels".  I have one
field that I'd like to use the IF THEN ELSE with but
everytime I right-click the field to edit it, the entire
field goes away.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi dawlean,

Select the field and then use Shift + F9 to display the field codes to
enable you to edit it.

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested.  Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps

Not sure what you are actually experiencing but here, the only way I can
edit an existing IF field is to use Alt-F9 to display the underlying field
codes and altering the contents by hand. Right-clicking does not give me any
useful editing facilities, unlike with other field types where I get a
Properties option that leads to a useful dialog box.
