Hi everyone,
I'm trying to create a report that lists different companies and their
clients. I'm trying to use mail merge with data file as a tab-delimited text
file that lists company name and client name. This text file would contain
all the companies and their respective client names. I want to generate a
document so that when a new company is encountered, Word starts a new
mailmerge document so that I have separate documents (single or multiplage),
one for each company.

I haven't done this group break stuff in Word. Could anyone give me a
pointer or two.

Thanks
Junaid

Hi Junaid,

See the "Multiple items per condition" item under the "Special merges"
section of fellow MVP CIndy Meister's website at
http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/MergFram.htm

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested.  Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps
