Hi;

I have an excel sheet suitable for mailmerge. I've added one coulumn to
check the records that i want to merge ( x ).
I used a NEXT IF field like this :
{NEXTIF {MERGEFIELD Control} ="" } {MERGEFIELD Name}

I want Word to merge the record if Control="x"

The records are like this:

Faruk     x
?zge      x
Caner     x
Ahmet
Mustafa
Altu?      x
Yeliz
Merve    x

As you see above Ahmet, Mustafa and Yeliz must not be merged. After the
merging i see that Ahmet is not merged but Mustafa is merged. There is no
problem with Yeliz.

Is there a solution with next if or skip if ? (I know i can do these with
query options)

Hi Bs,

Based on what you tell us here, I don't think NEXTIF (or SKIPIF) is
appropriate. This sounds like you need to filter the data. In order to tell
you exactly where to go to do this, we'd need to know which version of Word
you have?
