Is there any way to use the Word 2000 (XP) barcode field
to create a Postnet barcode that uses a mail merge field
from ACT 6.0?
I have created a word template of a #10 envelope that
merges ACT 6.0's data to address the envelope, but no
amount of tinkering with Word's barcode filed allows for
creating the Postnet barcode from the ZIP field being
merged from the ACT database.
Is there another way to do this? I don't want to spend
the $100 it takes to get a postnet font.
Thanks in advance

It's probably worth looking at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;212006
which tells you /most/ of what you need.
If that does not help, can you provide a couple of examples of the kind of
data that is inserted in your document (and the fields used to do it) when
you insert the ZIP field /without/ trying to use a BARCODE field?
