I want to produce a mass mailing to my customers but I want to put different messages in the subject line using data from my data source

How do I do this in Word/Outlook?

Regards

Martin

Your only choice using this software combination is a macro that separates a merge document result into separate documents and sends them
individually as emails. Or to use a macro in Outlook that processes the individual emails.

Or, get a third party software that does a better job of email merging. You should find a list at www.slipstick.com

There's a macro at www.mvps.org/word that shows the basics of the Word macro approach. You'd need to ask in an Outlook newsgroup for an
Outlook macro.

Hi Martin,

You could modify the macro in the article "Mail Merge to E-mail with
Attachments" at

http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/MailMerge/MergeWithAttachments.htm

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested.  Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.
Hope this helps
