I need to alphabatize a list on a regular word document.
It won't let me do it through the sort function without
merging it with a data base or address list.  I simply
need to alphabatize a list in a simple document.  In word
perfect you could, but in Word there doesn't seem to be a
way.  Can someone help me?

Word sorts by paragraph so each entry of the list needs to be a separate
paragraph. You can use the replace function to create the paragraphs and
remove them again afterwards if necessary.
