In Word 2000 I could click "edit data source" and then "view source". Would get a complete editable table of the recipients. In word 2000, if I click "mail merge recipients" and then "edit" I get just one record. The "view source button is dim". How do I view the data source in aan editable table??
Thanks
Hi Norm,
You will need to open the datasource in its native format, not throught the
mailmerge utility.

I thought this was a newsgroup.
Another example of a step backward. I (rather my wife) has been using and editing a database I set up for her for over 6 years. She is not very computer savy and whenever procedures change it takes me much learning for her to get back to where she is comfortabel again. Updates to software should be improvements, NOT degradations.

It is a newsgroup.
FWIW I agree with the content of your final sentence. Add your protest to
those already sent to mswish@microsoft.com
