When I run a merge with the envelope attached as part of the document file the first envelope prints fine, but the subsequent envelopes all have the footer of the document printed on the envelope along with the address.

Hi J Bledsoe,

I am not sure if this will help, but in the footer pane in the mailmerge
main document, make sure that same as previous is not checked on the headers
and footers toolbar.

If that doesn't work, you will probably have to create the letters and the
envelopes as two separate merge operations.

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested.  Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.
Hope this helps
