My regional settings are correctly set to UK date format.  I'm merging from an Access 2002 database query into a mailmerge document and the dates change into American format.  There doesn't appear to be any way to format the date field within the mail merge. Any ideas that don't involve programming!

See the "Dates: day/month reversed" item under the "Connection Methods"
section of the "Mail merge in Word 2002" topic on fellow MVP CIndy Meister's
website at http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/MergFram.htm
