Hi
I have Office 2003 and an excel spreadsheet showing
currency (£) as one of the "fields". When I merge it into
word the currency loses its £ sign and loses a decimal
point ie shows £23.50 as 23.5
Any ideas please

This is intentional - you can use a switch on the mergefield to format it
correctly - see http://www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm

see also

the Excel data section of
http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_labels_with_word_xp.htm for a method that
will bring the formatting from Excel.
