I want to use a separate file for my header source file.
How/where do I assign this.

All I ever see is options for the data source file, not
the header source file.

thanks.

If you are using Word 2002 or later, the option to set up a separate header
source are now hidden away - see Cndy Meister's pages at

http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/MM2002/MM2002.htm

and look at the "Getting back older interfaces" link.
