I figured out how to get the documents to merge.
This is for an invoice.
My dilema is that when I have the following fields separated by a tab.
Date, Number, Amount, Memo
I am having problems with these items alligning up in col. Some check
numbers or amounts are longer or shorter.
These are all in line of an if statement so I can do multi lines
grouping from the MS example of 294686.
so its like:
"Date [TAB] Number [Tab] Amount [Tab] Memo [ENTER]{MERGEFIELD Date} TAB
{MERGEFIELD Number} TAB {MERGEFIELD Amount} TAB {MERGEFIELD
Memo}""{MERGEFIELD Date} TAB {MERGEFIELD Number} TAB {MERGEFIELD
Amount} TAB {MERGEFIELD Memo}"
Thanks,
Barry

Hi Bshulam,
What's your data source? And which version of Word are we dealing with?
Note that I don't think the approach you're attempting is going to work,
we need to look for a different one...
