Wordart and Mail merge

How can i change the the text in a wordart object via mail merge?

Short and sweet: you can't. WordArt is actually another application
with a "window" into the Word document to display the result. Same
principle as embedding an Excel workbook in a Word document.

This means that Word fields simply can't work in WordArt. And the
object is treated by mail merge as a static graphic.

The only thing you could do would be to use VBA to either generate
the document(s) you need, or manipulate the WordArt in a merge
result document.
