I imported excel data into a mail merge. How can I build
a pie chart that will correspond with each record and
update with each record?

I think this may be a visual basic for applications solution involving
access, excel and word.
i.e. I think there will be some vb code needed

I look forward to hearing other peoples solutions.

ps ever looked at crystal reports?

Go to Google.com and search my name AND chart AND
Mailmerge. You should turn up a number of discussions in
which I present the 3 basic approaches that can be used.
Theoretically, they could all be done without VBA. But VBA
would certainly speed things up considerably :-)
