Why does the mail merge omit every other entry in the
data file when it shows the merged file?

Do you have a <<Next record>>  ({ NEXT }) field in your mail merge main
document?

Hi Richard,

Almost impossible to say, based on this little bit of
information.

- What version of Word
- What's the data source
- Are you doing a labels merge, or a form letter

Right off hand, try pressing Alt+F9 and look for a NEXT
field, near the end of the main merge document, I'd say. If
you find it, delete it. Alt+F9 again to hide the field
codes.
