I am using word 2002 to generate a merged document from data stored in excel 2002.  The excel 2002 file contains one cell that is greater than 255 characters and word is truncating the text in the merged document.  Is there any way I can get around this problem?  Note:  this problem did not occur in previous versions of word which have been used successfully to create the merge document.

On my website you'll find information on how to use the older interfaces and connection methods to link up to data sources. Try setting up a DDE or ODBC connection to the Excel file and see if htat helps.
