Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to clear out the "recently used addresses" that are shown when you click the pulldown arrow beside the "Insert Address Button".

Alternately, if they cannot be cleared, how long will they last?

Thanks in advance.

I believe these entries are stored in the registry, but unfortunately in the
(binary) Data key

(e.g. at

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Word\Data

for Word 2000,

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Word\Data

for Word 2002, and so on.

If you are familiar with he registry, you can export the existing key as a
backup, then delete the key and Word will recreate it, but you will lose
other settings.
