One of my employees has used the mail merge function in Microsoft Work
Word Processor to SPAM a prospect list, and I have to put a stop t
this.

How do I disable Mail Merge?  There must be SOME way, using MS-Outlook
MS-Word, or some custom patch, no?  I just want to REMOVE the optio
from visibility.

Thanks,

A desperate small business owne

Making things unavailable in Office is pretty difficult. You can remove menu
items and toolbars (Tools|Customize, and e.g. drag existing menu options
from menus) but it is not hard for a user to find the same dialog and get
the features back. In Works Suite, you would probably also have to uninstall
the Works add-in ( Windows Control Panel | Add and remove software)  that
allows users to mailmerge from a Works database.

If you happen to be in the UK you may be able to take action based on the
fact that SPAMming from the UK (at least to UK addresses, I don't know the
full details) is now illegal.
