i hope that this is the right wording. when i try to
print a mail merge onto labels, the addresses are
completely misaligned. everything is shifted up a
fraction of an inch, and over to the left more than just
a fraction, so that only the top left label is where it
should be. i have tried to make my own format-custom
format, but that does not help because it says that i
would go beyond the page limit. i have tried to change
the pt from 12 to larger size and smaller size hoping
this would place the labels lower. i have tried to
stretch the border on the bottom, because it does not
look right on the screen, but then it cuts off 1 whole
label row, and the last line of the row above that, this
was the best result, believe it or not. help, i have no
idea what to try next. i have tried so many times that i
am now almost out of ink! thank you!

1. Which version of Word is involved
2. The problem could be with the printer driver. you might
check the website of the printer manufacturer for a newer
driver and install it.
3. It might also be a problem with the Avery label wizard
that was installed with your version of Word. You can check
the Avery website for an update.
You could also try merging to a new document, then print
that. If you've never noticed problems, othewise, when
printing tables, this might work better.
