I am trying to create envelopes for a mass mailing.  I'd
like to merge the recipients name from a sheet of labels
that I have already created in works.  I've tried to do
this, but when it comes time to look at/edit my
envelopes, the recipient address is blank.  Can you help?

You need to get that Works document into Word then look at
http://www.gmayor.com/convert_labels_into_mail_merge.htm
There are filters to load Works docs in Word, but as you have not mentioned
versions of either product, I cannot offer further suggestions. You may find
that the appropriate filter has not been installed.
