Hi
I am merging an Excel database into a MS word document.
The Excel database consists of Name/Street No/ Street name/City
in the case where the street number is  a number like 1243 or 345 or 567899,
all is ok
BUT if the street number is #312-24 or 5567A then the merge document shows a
0(zero) as the street number
Can any one tell me how to fix that proble. Much appreciated
Thanks

I take it this is Word 2002 or 2003?

This is due to how you're connecting to the data. You have a couple of
choices; check the Word 2002 section of my website's Mail Merge FAQ. Look at
"Numeric and Date formatting" under the part on Connections.
