I'm using the Label wizard to print a single label.
Regardless of what I specify as the row/column for the
label to be printed, it always prints in the top left
corner (row 1, col 1).

So far, I've downloaded new printer drivers and installed
SP1 and SP2.  Doesn't help.

Running Office xp/Word 2002 on a Dell Inspiron 8100;
printer is new hp psc 1210 that works great otherwise.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,
Harriett

Hi Harriett,

I don't use this feature very often, so I'll need to test
(if I can find a machine with 2002 hooked up to a printer).
Which label type and number have you been trying?

A couple of other things that might get you up and running

- You could create a full page of labels, then delete the
ones you don't want. (Stop-gap measure)

- You might check the Avery website (the label interface is
an Avery tool) and see if there's an updated tool for Word
2002 that fixes the problem.

Thanks for the suggestions.  The Avery wizard isn't nearly
as nice as the wizard that came installed with Word 2002,
but it did get the job done, though it was clunky and slow.
