Hi guys,

Office 2003: I am using 4 frames on 1 page. Each frame has its own Record
which is ok, because I want to display the first 4 records on the first
page, then 5-8 on the second and so on...
Now: I want to make the frame transparent like a Text Box enable the User to
see the background or the text on the page. Is that possible? It should be
just a Frame Format issue, but I couldn't find it.

Reason why I am posting in this NG: If this is not possible, is there any
other way to get it like I need it?

Thanks,
Martin

Frames operate in the text plane and so cannot overlay the text content of
the page behind them, and was you have probably discovered you cannot put
merge fields in a text box.

Why do you need a frame? Would a directory merge work? Whatever you include
on the page will be reproduced for each record, so by carefully adjusting
the amount of space your record/text uses, the merge could put forur records
on the page.
