I have the data source in MS Excel. One of the columns
has been formatted with percent. I merge the Excel data
in Word, the percent formatting is lost. How do I retain
the formatting in Word from Excel? My Excel data has 30
columns 1000 rows.
Sample data:
Excel Word
10.05% 10.057897
Thank you for your support.

In the mailmerge main document, press Alt+F9 to toggle on the field codes
and inside the closing } of the mergefield, insert the following formatting
swithh
\# "0.00%"
