I need to figure out how do fix the length of a text mergefield so things align correctly on my labels. The results of the field in question are text of varying number of characters. As the result length varies, the label arrangement moves around. I have the mergefield whose length varies on the same line with a number field (which is fixed length) and separated by spaces. I have tried to left-align the text field and right-align the number field but the alignment keeps applying to the entire line
Left align the paragraph and insert a Right aligned tab stop at the position
where you want the number to be located and separate the mergefields with a
tab.

Other than the newsgroup, is there anywhere that all this stuff is located? Sure would save a lot of questions eh?
