is there any way to fix the merging issue associated with word xp when you have more than 250 fields without upgrading to word 2003 right away. word 2003 is supposed to allow for faster sorting through records and a more rapid merge to print function If you have tried all the connection methods (and in this case, I do not think changing them will help anyway) then I know of no way to improve performance in Word 2002.
