Inserted Fields in Header/Footer Don't Update after Select ALL/F9

I inserted the document Title (from File>Properties)
field into the first page of a document. I then include
the title in the header on subsequent pages. If I modify
the title field value, type CTRL A to select all, then F9
to update fields, the value is updated in the document
body, but not in the headers or footers. Is there simple
way to update the value of all fields wherever they are
in the document?

Thanks for your help.

Do a Print Preview by clicking on that button on the toolbar and then close
the preview pane.
