Electronic Mail Merger

I am trying to send a mass email in html format with
pictures, tables..etc.

I am using word as the email editor, an excel database,
and sending the html formated word doc to outlook.

Problem: when the elctronic mail merge takes place,
everything is fine, but when I view the email it is in
basic text, my pictures nor any other formatting is
visable.

HELP! much appreciated.

Which version of Word do you have?

Prior to Word 2002, Word cannot email merge any formatting,
just plain text. In order to keep the formatting, you have
to merge as an attachment to an email.
