On Professional 2000 I have no problem creating table from
Excel and merge it to Word. All the data were exported the
same including comma, period, currency sign, etc. With XP
Professional, it does not pick up the data as is. Like in
Excel I used $ sign for currency with comma for five
digits, when I do the mailmerge the $sign is not there and
the comma.
I tried to put the $ in the main doc, however the comma I
dont know what to do.
Would appreciate your help.

See http://www.gmayor.dsl.pipex.com/mail_merge_labels_with_word_xp.htm
especially the Excel data section.

I am having a similar problem. We have created a
directory using an Excel data source. After merging in
Word, the data is randomly incomplete.
What can I do?

If the solution posted to address the previous question in this thread
doesn't address your concerns, can you explain in what way data is
incomplete.
